The Round Table
Historically, the Round Table is a legendary depiction of King Arthur's Nights associating and planning battle strategies around a table. The distinguishing advantage was in the fact that each Knight who sat at the table was considered of equal status. There was no head at the table or one who was the head at the table. Thus, the table was round instead of a rectangular table that had a head. An even greater truth if it is true, as many history scholars suggest, is that there were Knights around the Round Table who were Black men.
Regardless, LMA's goal is for each minister and member of our association to know that we don't discriminate or pull rank. Instead, every minister's and member's expertise, skills, and gifts are encouraged and needed. We don't compete, envy, or stifle another's gifts, but we support and encourage each other's growth. Our only enemy is division. We are advanced enough to realize we can do more together than apart.
